Describing images
Microsoft Co Pilot • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Module 15.1.2: Describing images
With Co Pilot, you can also get detailed descriptions of image files that you have saved on your PC. This can also be done with Google Gemini. Both are great ways to use AI to get descriptions of images stored on your PC (more on ways to do this with the iPhone and JAWS PictureSmart later in this Module). The most common image file extensions are (.JPG and.PNG. Steps are: Open Bing AI, press E to get to the Ask us anything edit field, and press Enter. Type in a prompt, such as “please describe the attached picture.” Tab to the Add image to search button and press Enter. You can either paste a file here or Tab once to an Upload button and browse for the photo in the associated dialog. When added, you should hear “Attachment added successfully.” Tab to the Submit button and press Enter. As with other chats, each prompt you prepare becomes a level 2 heading and you can ask follow up questions.
